Exit Ban
An exit ban prevents a debtor from leaving Israel, for example in support or debt cases. A creditor can request one, and a debtor can ask to cancel it or to be allowed to travel on conditions, such as a guarantee.
When should you contact a lawyer?
- An order was issued against you, and you need to travel.
- There's an essential trip, for work or medical treatment.
- You're a creditor, worried the debtor will leave the country.
- You want to know which guarantees would allow travel.
