An "already paid" claim is a debtor's argument that the debt in the enforcement file has been paid, fully or partly, after the judgment was given. It is filed with the enforcement registrar, together with proof of payment.

When should you contact a lawyer?

  • You paid, and the file is still open.
  • You reached a settlement with the creditor that wasn't reported to the file.
  • Payments you made weren't recorded.
  • You're being charged twice for the same debt.
